Shore Concrete Pumping allowed the construction team to pour the entire 6,000 square foot headhouse floor in one piece. The hopper on the pumper truck was constantly filled by readymix concrete trucks. Sample pours (or text cylinders) were taken from each truck to insure the concrete mix met construction standards The boom arm reached over 75 feet from the truck and deposited the wet concrete mix in a controlled manner. This also allowed all vehicles to remain on the roadbed and not be mired in the soft, wet site due to recent rains.
