The first crop of hydroponic tomatoes was transplanted into the perlite bags. Flowers were observed 14 days after transplanting the 5 week-old transplants(growing in 3" rockwool cubes). Subsequent plantings were quicker by placing the cube directly on top of the bag and allowing the roots to grow down into the perlite media.
