The general worksite of the Hydroponic Rose Greenhouse encompasses a total of 8 acres. Under State and Federal regulations, initial site work includes the erection of a siltfence to prevent soil erosion and run-off into state waters. Additional regulations outlined by the Maryland Department of Environment require storm-water management structures to be included in the project design to handle run-off from the 2.5 acre roof.
