Snow Hill

Five commissioners, each from a single district, are elected for four year terms (not staggered); commissioners appoint a county administrator. As a Code Home Rule County, the state has delegated most decision-making powers to the county commissioners. Each of the four towns has an elected council and mayor with an appointed city manager.
