Crab Smitty
1 pound Maryland crabmeat (pasteurized or fresh) divided into 4 servings
4 Slices Smithfield Ham julienned
Butter
White Wine
Crab Seasonings
Instructions
It is best to cook this dish to order. For each serving:
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat in a sauté pan.
- Add 1 portion each of the crab and ham to the pan tossing or stirring to cover contents with the butter
- Sprinkle a bit of crab seasoning to taste
- Add a splash of white wine
- Continue tossing for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is warm
- Serve immediately over a bed of rice and/or with a fresh salad
